About the Project

Notts Avenue, Bondi Beach (Residential)

This premium block of units, situated at the end of Bondi Beach, boasts some of the best views in Sydney. Quatrix was engaged to deliver a modern security system that matched the property’s high-profile location and daily pedestrian traffic.

We installed a combination of Intercom, Access Control, CCTV, Digital TV and internet solutions designed to meet the needs of both residents and management. With constant foot traffic and the need for strong perimeter control, secure access was a top priority.

New cabling systems were designed and installed into all units, with minimal impact to residnets.

The new Bticino 2-wire intercom system was installed, next to the water, and has worked for over 15 years without any issues.

A GE Challenger system was installed with HID card readers.

The Challenge

Notts Avenue’s location at a busy public beach made it vulnerable to unauthorised entry, tailgating, and misuse of garage and shared access points. The building needed reliable entry-point control without compromising aesthetics or resident convenience.

The Solution

Quatrix implemented a layered solution including secure entry fobs, video intercom, and CCTV across key access points.

The systems installed ensured easy resident access to and from the beach, whilst detering unauthorised access and management of all common areas.
