About the Project

Llandaff St, Bondi (Residential)

Llandaff Street underwent a comprehensive security upgrade to enhance resident access and visitor management. The works included a new intercom system for 32 units, with two additional keypad entry panels installed to manage visitor parking access.

To further support security, the site was fitted with an access control system using pedestrian and garage fobs. CCTV cameras were also installed throughout the complex, delivering complete surveillance coverage across the multi-level car park buildings and surrounding areas.

The Challenge

The complex is located in an excellent location, but there were many problems with unauthorised parking in its visitors' car park.

Keys were being used for access to all areas of the building and locks hadn't been changed for many years.

Access through the car parks and building was unmonitored and safety was a concern.

The Solution

The visitors car park was secured by the installation of a new roller gate. Intercom keypad, garage remotes and CCTV was installed to monitor the entry and exit.

Access Control card readers were installed at other entry and exit doors, and the intercom upgraded for all units.

The Owners have adopted strict practice for managing fobs and garage remotes. And Quatrix are often engaged to add and delete access devices on the system.

This building is a great example of how to improve security for residencts, decrease visitor car park misuse, and manage a building's common areas.
