Quatrix Communications incorporating ANEW ANTENNA install television antenna systems, we are based in the Inner West of Sydney but service all of Sydney and the surrounding area. We believe we provide an excellent service at a competitive price.
We have many years experience installing RF television systems, from a TV antenna to MATV (blocks of units) and CATV (housing estates) systems. This provides us with the knowledge to design, install and service all analogue and digital TV antenna systems.
As most people are aware, the analogue television transmitters will be turned off starting around 2010 which means any new antenna installed should be digital compatible if not fully digital, in readiness for this change. All existing analogue systems should also be ready to migrate to digital when servicing is required or in a set time to avoid loss of service. There are great benefits to be gained from digital television such as
- digital quality pictures
- no ghosting or distortions
- additional TV channels such as ABC2, 7HD, 9HD, 10HD, SBSHD, SBS news and more to come
- additional radio channels such as SBS and ABC radio
- high definition pictures (576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p)
ANEW ANTENNA has experience in installing many types of digital systems and understands the technical requirements and specifications. A good quality digital signal ensures great viewing but a poor quality digital signal makes frustrating viewing with picture breakup and the sound cutting out.
We supply and install Hills and Fracarro products. Hills Industries are an Australian company, established in 1946 and Fracarro are an Italian company established in 1933. They both manufacture quality digital TV antenna and distribution equipment. ANEW ANTENNA install these products in the knowledge that they will serve you well.

- we measure the TV signals available and then choose the best TV antenna and distribution equipment for you.

Hills EFC2 (Wideband VHF) TV Antenna
The EFC antenna has been specifically engineered to provide anti-ghosting capability. Designed primarily for use in metropolitan areas, the EFC series are premium quality VHF wideband antenna. Constructed from the highest quality materials they are extremely strong and reliable. Frequency response over the desired channel range is +- 0.5dB with a front to back ration better than 15dB.
Fracarro Log Periodical Multiband TV Antenna
Fracarro use a balance of precision design and quality material to produce a high quality antenna and the first true Log PeriodicTV antenna for television.
Designed to minimize impulse noise and for a flat frequency response the antenna has excellent performance.
Log-Periodic (bands 3, 4 and 5) TV Antenna
Code 216167 Item LP345MHV
High gain and excellent antighost performance. The new mast mount is particularly suited for an easy Log-periodic TV antenna installation in vertical or horizontal position and without additional accessories. It is suitable for masts diameter from 25 to 60 mm without any additional fittings.

Fracarro Yagi TV Antenna
A very good quality UHF television antenna tuned for both VHF and UHF signals which has excellent front to back ratio and narrow bandwidth properties.
Digital Set Top Boxes

This is a good quality box that we install regularly. There is a programme guide for tv channel, radio channels and an easy to use menu. Picture quality is excellent and the unit is slim-line and looks good.

Hills PVR (personnel video recorder) 80Gbt and 120Gbt hard drive
These two units are based on the STR108 set-top box but have dual tuners and a hard drive that enables you to watch one channel whilst recording another. This effectively replaces the need for a VHS video recorder and provides digital recording and playback facilities. The 80Gbt system has a 40hour hard drive and the 120Gbt a 60 hour hard drive.
Installed prices for these two units are PVR80Gbt - $499.00 and the PVR120Gbt - $549.00.
